Muslim Population in Hyderabad and Telengana Areas (2001 Census)
Following is the distribution of Muslim population
in Telangana region. These figures are based on the census of 2001. It
is likely that the population of Muslims must have increased at the rate
of 4% during the next decade. According to this calculation Muslims
constitute nearly 16% in Telangana region.
